Beechwood makes school work available online

July 30, 2012

An online learning system will now allow pupils to access school work anytime and anywhere, inside and outside the classroom.

Beechwood Primary School in Ambleside Close has started using a Life Learning platform that acts as an online learning space that students can reach from PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile phones.

The Woodley school’s web manager Phil Healy said: “We took the decision to adopt the Life Learning Cloud to better connect with our new generation of techno-savvy students, and to introduce a more flexible way of delivering the excellent teaching that the school offers.”

The platform, provided by UniServity, also allows parents access to resources, homework, school bulletins and discussion groups to support their children.
