A jury has found an ex-Wellington College housemaster guilty of sexually abusing boys in his care.
Bruce Roth, 46, remained emotionless in the dock as he was convicted of 17 offences relating to his time as maths teacher and housemaster at the prestigious boarding school in Crowthorne and King's School in Rochester.
Throughout the last four weeks witnesses including five victims, friends, family members and teachers from both schools.
The offences took place against pupils aged eight to 15 over a period of 22 years.
Roth denied four counts of indecent assault on a male under 16, four counts of sexual activity with a child, three counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and six counts of sexual activity with a child by a person in a position of trust.
The five victims said Roth touched them when they were children.
Daniel Fugallo, prosecuting, said that there were “striking similarities” in the cases.
He added that they were not friends at school and have not become friends since.
Alexander Williams, defending, had accused them of making up the claims.
Roth is currently awaiting sentence at Reading Crown Court.
