Car catches fire on A329M

A lane of the A329M was closed last night after a BMW caught fire.
Wokingham firefighters believe an electrical fault caused the car to catch fire as it drove down the A329 towards Reading at around 6.15pm last night.
The driver, a man, was not hurt, but the crew had to close the inside lane for around 30 minutes while they dealt with the blaze.
The car was badly damaged and the lane re-opened at around 6.45pm.
