Aliens are likely to invade Bracknell and Wokingham

July 12, 2012

Little green men have their sights on Bracknell Forest and Wokingham, according to research released this week.

The UFO Investigation & Research Unit has been researching which spots are most likely to be invaded by aliens and has placed area in the top six most at-risk places.

The ranking is based on reported sightings, presence of military bases and proximity to potential targets. It is thought the Atomic Weapons Establishment in Aldermaston could make the area attractive to extraterrestrials.

Phil Hoyle, head of the UFO Investigation & Research Unit, said; "The risk is very real with UFO sightings increasing each year.

"The Government needs to be vigilant and introduce measures that ensure the public's safety.

"They have a right to be prepared for the inevitable and this research demonstrates a threat that is potentially on their doorstep."

London is the most at risk spot in Britain while Fort William in Scotland is the least. Other places on interest to intergalactic raiders include Goonhilly in Cornwall, site of a satellite base, and Scarborough which is near several key military sites.

Winstanley read your comment and cracked up!

Hope the aliens aren't anti-social drinkers as well ;)

That's quite a headline, but where's the support for the claims?

I suspect that Phil Hoyle cannot provide evidence that aliens exist, let alone that they are dangerous and are planning an invasion. If he had such evidence then he'd be first in line for a Nobel prize.

The reporter should be ashamed of themselves for being drawn in without a single question being asked. This is shockingly bad reporting.

Ossie - they are actually a private limited company and receive no public money - not that any mention was ever made that they did. They are part of a wider network of 'enthusiasts'. Cosmic train spotters if you will.

If they land down Norreys they'll find it up on bricks before you can say Useless Crescent.

Why on earth is public money being used to fund such pointless and useless trivia! You'll hear more common sense spoken in the local over a pint for nowt! As to Aliens landing in Wokingham I'd have thought it obvious from the antics of WBC that they are already here!

I imagine the Council would be happy to give them a nice free house and some benefits to tide them over...

They'd take one look at the town centre and jump on the first spacecraft home.

What have we done to deserve this? We already have a zombie infestation in Bracknell and now the aliens are coming!

So this explains why Bracknell and Wokingham Councils want to build so many houses in the area.

Maybe little green men could take over empty office space too - as earth-bound businesses seem reluctant to move in.

Don't let Dr Ching hear about this - he'll have an aneurysm.
