Burst pipe in Arborfield Cross

A burst pipe left 130 properties in Arborfield Cross without water yesterday evening.
Bottled water was offered to 30 homes who remained without a water supply overnight as workmen fixed the burst.
A Thames Water spokesman said: "A pipe burst in Eversley Road and affected 130 properties yesterday evening. Workmen rerouted water as soon as they arrived, returning the supply to 100 properties. We alerted the remaining 30 homes that bottled water was available if it was required.
"We were working throughout the night to fix the pipe and this was completed at 4am. We're really sorry for any inconvenience caused."
