By Becky BarnesJuly 04, 2012
Residents are being encouraged to tidy up before the Olympic Torch arrives in Bracknell on Tuesday, July 10.
A national initiative has been launched to encourage people to take pride in their area as the torch passes through.

Phil Barton, chief executive at Keep Britain Tidy, said: “The torch is making its way around the country so we need you to give it your cleanest, tidiest welcome when it arrives in your town, city or village.
“It won’t be here for long so we hope everyone will continue to keep their community tidy long after the torch has been and gone.
“It doesn’t matter if you tidy up for five minutes or 50, every piece of litter you pick up will help us to show the world we care about the communities we live in.”
