The borough mayor is flying the flag ahead of this Saturday’s Armed Forces Day.
Councillor Bob Wyatt raised a flag at the front of the council’s offices in Shute End on Monday.
The flag will be flying all week in the run-up to a day of live music in the town centre this weekend. St Sebastian Wokingham Band will be playing music in the Market Place from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, with the Armed Forces flag being raised at the Town Hall at midday.
