Heavy rainfall in Wokingham forcing the closure of Winnersh park and ride has cost the borough nearly £7,000 in lost ticket sales this week.
The park and ride remained closed today for the fourth day in a row due to an Environment Agency flood alert on the River Loddon.
Every day the Loddon Bridge service is closed, Wokingham Borough Council loses around £1,700 in ticket sales.
Alerts remain in place for the river today, however a flood alert for the Emm Brook has been lifted.
Wind speeds are expected to peak today at 38mph. Drivers are being warned of a fallen tree in Barkham Ride between Commonfield Lane and Church Lane in Finchampstead blocking a lane this afternoon.
The Met Office weather forecast predicts more rain tomorrow evening and wind gusts of up to 47mph. There are no severe weather warnings for the borough.
