Driver rebailed after crash which left Jack Allison and Stuart Craig dead

A man arrested in connection with a collision in which teenagers Jack Allison and Stuart Craig died has been bailed for a second time.

A 23-year-old-man, from Woosehill, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the collision between a van and the boys’ Volkswagen Golf at the junction of King Street Lane and Reading Road on the evening of Wednesday, March 14.

He answered bail on Wednesday, May 30, and has been re-bailed until Wednesday, July 4.

Jack, 18, a former Emmbrook School pupil from Woosehill, died at Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading shortly after the crash.

Stuart, 19, from Winnersh, died in the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on Wednesday, March 21, after suffering serious injuries.
