A fitness instructor is gearing up to cycle 550km around Vietnam to support a hospice charity.
Jenny Puckey, who works at St Crispin’s Leisure Centre in London Road, Wokingham, is taking part in a 15-day cycle to raise funds for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, which is based in Farnham, Surrey.
She sets off on Saturday, June 16.
Jenny said: “I have always wanted to visit Vietnam and I love being active and cycling outdoors so I thought why not combine a visit with raising money for a great charity?
“Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice is the only adult hospice serving West Surrey and I’m proud to be raising money for such an important local charity.
“It’s getting closer and the training is picking up.
“I feel ready for the bike ride and can’t wait to get to Vietnam.”
