Spencers Wood flat fire

Two fire crews were called to Spencers Wood last night to tackle a fire in a first floor flat.
The flat in Hythe End Road was over an industrial unit.
Fire fighters from Whitley Wood and Wokingham Road fire stations used breathing apparatus, hose jets and thermal imaging cameras to put out the blaze.
The alarm was raised at 9.30pm and the fire was out by just after 11pm.
Fire fighter Jake Easthope said: "There was no-one in the flat at the time. It was badly damaged. We don't know what started it."
