24 hour battle raises cash for GamesAid

Gamers did battle with aliens and sped through the world of Sonic the Hedgehog during a 24-hour fundraiser for GamesAid.
The team from FanCensus in Market Place raised more than £520 during the event last month.
Ryan Janes from the company, which researches the gaming industry, said: “We survived the 24 hours! Pizza was eaten, games beaten, friendships finished.”
More than 800 people tuned in to the gaming challenge over the course of the 24 hours.
