That will be me then - the biker, not the pig!!! Hugh, you're probably the very driver that deliberately pulls across a motorcyclists path and makes things twice as dangerous as they already are out there - for all road users. Poor driving (and poor riding) causes accidents for everyone, but bikers and cyclists are just that much more vulnerable.
I drive and ride and I am appalled by both bad riding and bad driving. But drivers that lump all bikers into a category saying we're we're all the same and all idiots are the dangerous ones! Yes, there are bad bikers, but for every bad biker, I reckon there must be at least 20 worse drivers. Not every biker is the same, so don't big so arrogant and ignorant towards other road users!

On the other hand, many people who drive cars fail to use the correct lanes, fail to indicate properly, fail to look properly before pulling out, and also speed.
I personally think car drivers are much more dangerous on our roads than bikers.
I really hope this guy is OK and has a speedy recovery.

And as for speeding - if they were truly speeding (as opposed to just going faster than the gridlocked cars) don't you think the Police would sit there racking up tons of fines to hit their targets ?

The new roundabout is not stupid - the people who cannot read the road markings are stupid! The only time I've had issues there are with people not reading the markings/signs.
