Police appeal following burglary and attempted burglary in Earley

Police appealing for information after a burglary and attempted burglary in Earley.

In the first incident, officers were called at 10.12am last Tuesday, May 8, following reports someone had been send breaking into the rear of a home in Rosedale Crescent.

Police discovered the rear patio doors had been forced and jewellery had been stolen from upstairs.

At around 1pm on the same day, a man called police after seeing two men trying to get into the front door of a property in Shephers House Lane by putting a tool through the letterbox.

The men saw the witness watching them and ran off, possibly getting into a grey car.

A 24-year-old man from London was arrested on Thursday and released on bail until June 19.
