Best be sensible.
Yes it is raining .... I say isn't the weather terrible this time of year? Ne'er cast a clout 'til May is out.
I should perhaps employ C8H10N4O2 as my editor.
I had a gust of 16.4 mph a short while ago.

Hang-on ... it was YOU who first mooted that the Prof is not a mythological deity with the name, Zeus - clearly, otherwise he would be called The Professor Zeus ... surely? Do try to keep "on-topic".

Not a very auspicious start for Professor Ted Shepherd who has been appointed Grantham Chair in Climate Science at the Department of Meteorology and the Walker Institute for Climate System Research.
Would be handy if the very Prof. Ted could bring us up to speed with exactly what he has been doing to the weather around Reading, since he arrived. If he needs a hand, my youngest would be happy to assist in the design of a Cloud Zapper Ray Pistol.
