Toddler rescued from locked car in Earley

Fire crews rescued a toddler who had been accidentally locked in a car this afternoon.
Firefighters from Wokingham Road were called to a car near The George, Wokingham Road at around 5pm and spent half an hour trying to get inside.
They encouraged the boy, aged two, to open the door from the inside but had to reach the keys through a crack in the window.
A fire spokesman said the toddler was quite content and the mother was relieved when the car was unlocked.
