Pressing the right buttons for SportActiv game
By Victoria SmithMay 03, 2012
An outdoor game which encourages children to run around has pushed the right buttons with Arborfield villagers.
The SportActiv facility is the first of its kind in the country and features a court area with touch-sensitive lights that children must run between and push to switch off.
Manufacturer Wicksteed was at the court on Saturday, April 21, to answer questions about the game and hand out goodie bags.
A new sign was also put in place at the game at Arborfield Recreation Ground in Swallowfield Road, as users had struggled to understand the old sign. The facility was paid for with £22,000 from developers building new homes in the area.
