Chris Bolt wins Bracknell Half Marathon for second year in a row

April 29, 2012

Priestwood man Chris Bolt finished in first place of the Bracknell Half Marathon in appalling conditions this morning.

Chris, 31, from Wick Hill, won the race for the second year in a row in a time of one hour, 15 minutes and 10 seconds, slightly slower than his one hour, 14 minutes and 26 seconds last year.

The womens' race was won by police officer Jill Christie from Windsor, who was running for the Met Police team.

This year's event attracted 1,350 runners, of which 918 took part in the race.
