Radstock dartathon for charityBy Becky Barnes

Bullseyes, beer and banter kept nine men going through a 24-hour darts challenge at an Earley social club.
Radstock darts team members threw arrows continuously from Saturday lunchtime through to Sunday at Radstock Social Club to raise nearly £3,000 for the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance.
With less than an hour to go, committee member Peter King said: “It’s been long and gruelling and we are all knackered.
“Everyone has been fantastic – families and friends came to support us and everyone pulled out all the stops to raise money for a cause close to our hearts.”
On Saturday night, eight other darts teams from the area came to challenge the team but they remained unbeaten in all the games.
For the rest of the time, they competed against each other, with family and friends joining them on Sunday morning at the club in Radstock Lane, Earley.
Steve Hayden, who helped come up with the idea, said: “It has been brilliant and full of friendly banter.
“I’m not going to bed, I will stay up now.”
