By Victoria Smith
April 20, 2012

Leisure centres in Wokingham are marking St George’s Day by offering free passes to people with the saint’s name.

Carnival Pool in Wellington Road, Loddon Valley Leisure Centre in Lower Earley, and St Crispin’s Leisure Centre in London Road will give residents called George a free three-day pass.

St George’s Day is on Monday, April 23.

My parents got it wrong again. Thinking about it I don't know anyone called George. They won't have to issue many of these passes. Can we object to them anyway on grounds of sexual discrimination?
