Journalist Jon Snow to speak at St James' Church Centre

Newsreader Jon Snow will be giving a talk at a Finchampstead church as part of a series of Lent lectures.
The media guru, who joined ITV news in 1976, will be giving a talk titled ‘The Media: why the worst may be over and the best yet to come’ on Friday, March 16.
The Right Reverend Andrew Proud, Bishop of Reading, will be starting the series with a talk called ‘What we can learn from Africa’ on Tuesday, February 28.
The Reverend John Edwards, associate priest in the parish of Finchampstead and California will also be taking a lecture about the book of common prayer on Tuesday, March 13.
Martin Cooper, who worked with inter-denominational organisation Navigators for 35 years, will be hosting another talk on Tuesday, March 20.
The final lecture will be taken by Martin Hughes, a member of St Mary and St John Church in California and lay chairman of Sonning Deanery Synod.
He will be giving a talk titled ‘The Battle for Ancient Israel’.
