Man jailed following burglary at home of 72-year-old

A 26-YEAR-OLD man has been jailed for burgling the home of a 72-year-old woman who returned home while the theft was in progress.
Claudio Gouveia, 26, from Hadlow House, Kinglake Estate in London, was sentenced to three years in prison after being found guilty at Reading Crown Court on Thursday, December 15.
He was in the woman’s Shute End home on Monday, April 25, this year at around 8.30pm when she returned home. The elderly victim disturbed Gouveia, but he made off with more than £7,000 worth of goods from the house.
