Burglars locked out

A couple returned home from holiday to find burglars had attempted to force their way into their house.
Police are warning residents to check the security of their homes, particularly before going away on holiday.
The break-in happened sometime between August 17 and August 24 in Waterloo Road.
The couple found their conservatory had been broken into and an attempt had been made to force the patio doors to the house. However, the would-be thieves were unable to get access.
