Tee off for local children’s centre

A charity with a centre for children with disabilities in Wokingham is calling on golfers to help raise funds.
Dingley Family and Specialist Early Years Centres are hosting their first charity golf day in September in aid of the facilities’ work.
The charity helps 92 families at its three centres at Wokingham Hospital in Barkham Road and in Reading and West Berkshire.
It has an annual fundraising target of £200,000 and has been a registered charity since 1987.
The golf day on Tuesday, September 28, will take place at Caversham Health Golf Course. Teams of four are needed and the cost is £200.
