Top mum Jane gets invite to Number 10

Mum of the Year Jane Gates was treated to a day of pampering and a trip to10 Downing Street following her inspirational charity work in memory of her son.
Jane Gates named Mum of the Year
Binfield woman Jane, who runs Sebastian’s Action Trust in Sunninghill, was named Tesco Magazine Mum of the Year last month.
She was the outright winner of the competition and with nine mums who had won other categories attended an award ceremony at the Waldorf Hotel in London.
They were also invited to meet competition judge Sarah Brown, wife of Prime Minister Gordon Brown, and other celebrities.
Sebastian's dream hits a milestone
Jane and her family have just seen the beginning of the work on a holiday home for sick children which had been the dream of her son Sebastian before he died of cancer six years ago aged nine.
