Four charged with distraction burglaries

Four men appeared in court charged with committing or attempting to commit ‘distraction burglaries’ across the South East including Crowthorne.

Henry and John Doe, Robert Moody and David Butler appeared at Reading Crown Court on Thursday, March 4.

The four are each accused of conspiracy to steal and one of conspiracy to commit fraud.

Both Henry Doe, 45, of Foxborough Close, Slough, and Moody, 40, of Evesham Road, Evesham, Worcestershire, are in custody.

John Doe, 18, of Foxborough Close, Slough, and Butler, 24, of Hanby Close, Slough, are on bail.

The four did not enter pleas to either count and the case has been adjourned for a plea and case management hearing on Thursday, April 8.
