MP on half marathon run to boost charity
March 11, 2010
Two Labour politicians will be running the Reading Half Marathon as a relay to raise cash for multiple sclerosis suffers.
Reading West MP Martin Salter and Reading East Labour hopeful Anneliese Dodds will be running with two other party teammates on Sunday, March 21.
The team, called Martin’s Midnight Runners, will be pounding three miles each in the Corporate Relay Challenge to raise cash for Berkshire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in August End, West Reading.
Around 80 teams are expected to take part in the relay.
Mr Salter and Ms Dodds have set up a Justgiving page to help raise as much money as possible for their chosen charity.
It can be found at www.justgiving.com/Martin-Salter-MP.
Mr Salter, patron of the MS centre, will be taking part for the last time as an MP as he is standing down at the General Election.
This event follows his parachute jump from 10,000ft last September which raised more than £1,200 for the same charity.

To be clear, I am not making any accusation, merely asking a question that no one seems to be able to get a response on.
I do find it funny PCWatch that you appear to be a fan of Salter, but then again he blamed Eastern Europeans without evidence for destroying his beloved "sport" of fishing local lakes. Perhaps you both belong together?
