Schoolgirl injured after colliding with car

A schoolgirl suffered cuts and bruises following a collision in Earley yesterday.
The 12-year-old was in a smash with a Vauxhall Corsa in Beech Lane at 8.15am, a Thames Valley Police spokesman said.
He added the girl was taken by ambulance to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.
No-one has been arrested in connection with the incident and the road was not closed, the spokesman added.
