Loddon Bridge Park & Ride to reopen tomorrow

The Loddon Bridge Park and Ride will reopen tomorrow.

The car park in Winnersh was closed last Wednesday following heavy snowfall.

It has now been cleared of snow and will be open to commuters in the morning.

Just driven to Reading this morning past Loddon Park and Ride and its totally flooded now with more snow to melt. Don't expect it to be open tomorrow!!

Amazing to think that it took a week to clear all the snow from it. Must have been more snow than anywhere else in the entire universe. That said, given the forecast for overnight it might be closed again tomorrow due to snow. Hurrah!

A solution has been found. Martin Salters beloved NULAB beavers will build their dykes around the edge of the carpark.

'Loddon Bridge Park & Ride to reopen tomorrow' That is until the effects of the melting snow cause the Loddon to flood and close it again the day after tomorrow... Great idea building it on a flood plain!
