Police target yobs creating trouble on Friday nights
November 17, 2009
Yobbish behaviour in Woodley will be tackled by a police crackdown.
Officers will target anti-social behaviour in the town on Friday and Saturday nights following the roll out of Operation Lion Club.
There will be a greater police presence on these evenings and officers from Woodley’s neighbourhood team will hold street briefings.
PCSO Clare Towse said: “Anti-social behaviour remains a top priority for Woodley. I can assure residents that this remains a priority for the Woodley neighbourhood team and we are continuing our patrols in the area and dealing with young people who are acting in an anti-social way.”
Anyone wanting to report anti-social behaviour can call police on 08458 505 505.
