Top awards for town's floral displays

Once again the floral displays which are the “stalk” of the town and make Bracknell blooming brilliant have received a top award.
Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) and Bracknell Forest Council are celebrating this week after winning the small city category with a silver gilt award in the Thames and Chiltern in Bloom competition.
The town also received the regional award for Best Floral Input and Ranelagh School in Ranelagh Drive, Bracknell, and won a commendation in the Mark Mattock School Challenge Cup.
The awards come after a visit from judges from the Royal Horticultural Society in July.
Helen Barnett, marketing manager for BRP, said: “We are ecstatic Bracknell won the large town category in the Thames and Chiltern in Bloom competition.”
