Twyford man jailed for blackmail

A Twyford man who blackmailed his dominatrix wife’s Botox doctor was today jailed for three and a half years.
Terence Burton of Wargrave Road was sentenced at Reading Crown Court.
Recorder John Darling described blackmail as “the attempted murder of the soul”.
He added if Burton, 51, had not admitted to attempting to extract £20,000 from ‘Dr X’ who cannot be named for legal reasons then he would have faced five years in prison.
Earlier this month Burton’s wife Marion was acquitted of one count of blackmail at the same court.
