Woman flashed at in Dinton Pastures

July 29, 2009

A flasher exposed himself to a 19-year-old Woodley woman as she walked at Dinton Pastures country park yesterday.

The woman was walking near White Swan Lake when a man cycled past her, then stopped to sit on a bench at around 2.15pm.

He proceeded to touch himself as she walked past and he was seen a further two times cycling past her exposing himself.

The flasher is described as white, 6ft tall and is thought to be in his 40s.

He had a round face and double chin with stubble. He was wearing a black cycle helmet with a peak, large round black sunglasses, a dark T-shirt with white writing and beige three-quarter length shorts, with dark trainers.

His bike was a dark mountain bike with large wheels and he was carrying a large black rucksack.

PC Lisa Berry, who is investigating, said: “There were other people in the park at this time who may have seen a man matching this description.

“I would urge anyone who may have been in the area at this time and witnessed any such behaviour to please contact me.

“I would also like people to be extra vigilant in the area, and to report any suspicious behaviour or anything that makes them feel uncomfortable to police as soon as they can.”

If you have any information contact PC Berry on 08458 505 505.

If I see him I'll take a picture using my mobile phone and take it down to Loddon Valley. With a bit of luck the dirty perv will get sent somewhere and end up playing with someone else's tackle.

I say with a bit of luck because obviously with our overcrowed prisons he'd probably get community service!

All I need now is a dog...

This has been going on for 20 years+ around Dinton Pastures - as a (then) local dog walker I was a victim myself. Stupidly I didn't report it,although talking to other friends who walked their dogs around there at the time I wasn't the only one. We just chose other routes.
