£3,500 heroin found during police swoop

Heroin worth £3,500 has been seized in police raids across Wokingham.

Officers found 39 wraps of the class A drug and another 40 grams during the raids on two homes in the town.

A man and a woman were arrested and charged following the operation on Friday.

Gary Tibbs, 41, of Barkham Ride, was charged with possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and possession of a class B drug.

He appeared before East Berkshire magistrates in Slough on Saturday and was remanded in custody.

The woman, who police have not named, has been charged with allowing the production of heroin in her home.
