Wanted: Graffiti artist ‘supervisor’

May 26, 2009

The hunt is on for a graffiti artist to help a group of young people decorate a railway bridge.

The bridge in Loddon Valley Road will have a colourful new look when young street artists give it a coat of paint as part of a police-organised programme.

A supervisor is needed to make sure spray cans are wielded responsibly.

Inspector PJ Binns, from Wokingham police, said: “It will be a positive bit of street art.

“The young people have suggested it so they are quite keen to go ahead.”

The teens will get cinema vouchers for their efforts.

Anyone who can lend a hand can contact police on 0845 8 505 505.
