Housing ‘is wrong’ say residentsBy Alice Murphy

Building thousands more homes in Wokingham will stretch its road network to breaking point, an inquiry has heard.
Concerned residents’ groups turned out to have their say this week in the latest day of public examination for Wokingham Borough Council’s core strategy.
The masterplan sets out where 13,500 new homes will be built across the borough by 2026.
Townspeople told the government inspector the scheme was "manifestly wrong"during the hearing on Tuesday.
Under the plans, 2,500 homes would be built to the south of the town and 1,500 would be built in the north, but residents say roads are already too busy.
The examination will end on Thursday, April 23.
