Fears over BB gun shootingsBy Alice Murphy

BB guns, drug abuse, vandalism and graffiti are some of the problems plaguing residents in a Wokingham estate.
People living in Eustace Crescent in Norreys have listed maintenace and anti-social behaviour as the estate's top problems during a tenants' meeting last week.
The forum was organised as a result of coverage by the Wokingham Times and getwokingham of problems such as damp and mould affecting families.
Issues raised at the meeting last Tuesday include sewage leaking from drains, toilets leaking, extensive damp problems, broken windows in communal areas and unsafe balconies.
In terms of the community, tenants complained about drug dealing and drug taking, criminal damage and graffiti, gangs of youths hanging around, people shooting BB guns and children under 12 playing out after midnight.
Simon Price, head of tenant services at Wokingham Borough Council, outlined plans for walkabouts and inspections of homes at the estate.
