A teenage boy from Wokingham is one of nine people who is due to appear in court today following yesterday's early morning series of raids.
The 15-year-old boy has been charged with conspiracy to burgle as part of Surrey Police’s Operation Shield.
A total of 12 raids took place yesterday and officers raided eight addresses in north Surrey, as well as the one in Wokingham.
The operation was launched last week to try to tackle offenders from outside Surrey.
The nine people, including the teenager, who have been charged will appear at Guildford Magistrates Court today.
