A woman had to be airlifted to hospital on Monday after a crash on the M4 motorway near Winnersh.

Two cars and a caravan swerved to avoid debris on the M4 between junctions 10 and 8/9 and veered off the road. 

Firefighters were called to the accident at around 2pm, which involved a Ford Ka and a 4x4 towing the caravan.

A land ambulance and an air ambulance were called out.  Two men and a woman needed treatment.
