Water long wait

Homeowners in a Wokingham road largely lived in by pensioners were furious after a water leak left the road under water for three days.
People living in Eastheath Gardens found the leak from a drain in the road on Sunday and reported it the same evening but had to wait until Wednesday for water company South East Water.
Neighbours in the road called the Wokingham Times and described the problem as an inconvenience.
They also hit out at the company for failing to promptly repair the leak and said the road was prone flooding.
South East Water said after inspection engineers decided the leak was not affecting drinking water or the sewage system.
