Takeaway to take over the funeral home

The former home of a funeral directors is to serve up fast food after council bosses gave the green light to a change of use application.
The building in Ashridge Road, where R. Aubrey Miles & Sons used to be, will soon be turned into takeaway after Wokingham Borough Council’s planning department saw no problem with the change of use application from Ben Blair, owner of the shopping parade.
The unit has been empty since the funeral directors moved to London Road in August last year.
It is unknown what type of takeaway the shop will be.
