Teen punched in Woosehill

A teenager was punched in the face duirng an altercation between youths in Woosehill.

The 18-year-old boy was in Woosehill Spine Road when he was assualted shortly before midnight on Friday.

Wokingham Police say the teen was attacked following an altercation between two groups of youths.

Detective constable Gillian Duning of Loddon Valley CID today launched an appeal to trace a man and two women who stopped to help the teenager.

“I am particularly keen to speak to a man and two women who stopped to help the victim and make sure he was ok, as I believe they may be able to help with our investigation," the officer said.

- A 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on bail until June 7.
