Tributes to ‘a true railwayman’

A moving tribute has been paid to a long-serving member of a Wokingham railway group.
Ron Warner, 79, who lived in Henley, was a member of Wokingham Methodist Church’s Railwayand Transport Club for 15 years.
Mr Warner, who also worked as a signalman at the Twyford East signal box, died suddenly on Sunday, February 24, while visiting his brother and sister-in-law in Reading.
