Star beekeeper celebrates 100th birthday.

A Wokingam man who has toast and honey for breakfast every day still gets a buzz from beekeeping despite hitting the ripe old age of 100.

Albert Spragg, a resident at the Warren Lodge care home in Warren Lane, Finchampstead, celebrated achieving the milestone with family and friends with two parties on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mr Spragg is the president of Wokingham & District Beekeeping Association and was joined by members of the group at the care home on Wednesday.

At his party on Tuesday he was visited by borough mayor Councillor Annette Drake.
