Office workers hurt in letter bomb blast

6/ 2/2007

A letter bomb exploded at a Wokingham accounting company, injuring two people and provoking a massive response from emergency services.
Two fire engines, paramedics, a dozen police officers and a bomb disposal squad were scrambled following the blast at Oaklands Business Centre, off Molly Millar’s Lane, at about 9am yesterday (Tuesday).
The explosion occurred when a male employee from accountancy firm Vantis opened a booby-trapped parcel, causing it to ignite.
