Child porn addict is spared prison
By Victoria Corbett18/10/2006
A pervert who stored thousands of sick child porn images on his computer while living in a flat overlooking a primary school has been spared a jail term.
Alistair Hodgkins, 36, was caught following two young girls around Wokingham and was later found to have thousands of depraved images on his computer.
He has also been in contact with young girls online, it has been revealed.
But at Reading Crown Court last Friday, Judge Mary-Jayne Mowat heard Hodgkins had been making good progress since being sent to a half way house for offenders in April and she ordered he continue his treatment there.
She ruled Hodgkins must remain at the half way house, Manor Lodge, Windsor, for 12 more months and attend a sex offenders’ programme while receiving treatment for mental problems.
