Bus cuts petition gathers support

About 80 people have signed a petition against cuts to bus services in Wokingham.
Last week The Wokingham Times reported that from Saturday, November 18, the 191 and 192 buses, run by First Group, will no longer pick up Wokingham passengers.
Carol Benson, of Great Hollands, Bracknell, relies on the 191 services to get to and from work in Argos, Wokingham.
She said: “Everybody is upset about the cuts and we are hoping that they won’t take place, and that’s why we are trying to talk to as many people as we can.
