Wokingham and Emmbrook FC wants to build the stand as a permanent home but protestors fear it would ruin the park and bring in too much noise and traffic.

And this week council deputy chief executive Paul Turrell, who is supporting the club’s bid, admitted parking would be an issue on the site as only 40 extra spaces would be provided under current plans.
