.Nick and Nicola Jones’ house in Arun Close was overrun with police officers, counter-terrorist officers and an army bomb squad after they reported finding the shell in their garden.

But residents of the street breathed a sigh of relief when the bomb squad quickly identified the shell as a concrete-filled dummy, used for training during World War Two.
