A QUESTION mark has been hanging over the old police station for some time.
The Grade II listed building in the town centre has been subject to a bidding process that was thrown into confusion when the winning developer, Foundation Land, withdrew its bid.
Now Lambert Smith Hampton, the property agent dealing with the sale of the site, has moved to the second bid – which came from Tim Lewis, a local businessman.
